How long does CoC certification take?
Typically 6–10 weeks from application to certificate, depending on how ready your documentation is and how quickly any findings are closed.
How are fees calculated?
From our public fee schedule — based on your scope, number of sites and company size. The Annual Administration Fee payable to FSC is based on your forest-product turnover.
Does a small company need an audit every year?
Yes. FSC requires a surveillance audit in every year of the 5-year cycle, but audit duration scales with the size and complexity of your operation.
Can we certify multiple sites under one certificate?
Yes. Multi-site and group certification let related sites share a single certificate under a central office, reducing audit time and cost per site.
What does EUDR have to do with FSC?
FSC certification does not replace EUDR due diligence, but FSC Chain of Custody provides much of the traceability evidence a due-diligence system needs. Our EUDR module evaluates that system against the regulation's requirements.
